This weekend seen some very high scoring games around the grounds and proved to be some very entertaining football on view. 

We saw two teams representing our club at the under 12 age group. And both teams put in a fine performance but unfortunately lost out by 1 goal in very entertaining games.

Great performance by our U12s today who were unlucky to lose 5-4 to Moneygall in the last 5 minutes. Great performance by all.

Report - 
A Very good performance  against a good Knigh Utd side, cloughjordan started slowly and went 1 down after a few minutes but they found their form and came back straight away to go  2 - 1 up. The lads were Pegged back with a super free kick by Knigh  to draw level. 

The boys created plenty of chances and scored again to make it 3 2 going into half time. 

A Much better team performance in the second half scoring 3 more goals to win the game 6-2. 

Special mention for Cian who scored a brace and Tommy Ryan who scored his first Cloughjordan FC goal today on his debut. Well done to all the boys. 

Training resumes again next Wednesday and our next match will be against Dingle Bay in the SFAI National Cup at home on Saturday 27th September. Well played boys👏👏👏

Under 16 Boys 

Cloughjordan 8-4 Ardcroney 
After a nervy start to the game, Clough roared into a 3.0 lead midday through the first half. 

Some defensive errors saw the visitors claw two back before the break to leave things interesting at half-time with the score 3-2 going into the break it was all to play for in the second half. 

Clough came out in the second half intent on showing their footballing ability, and by the end of the game it was the home side who added another 5 goals to their tally, whilst the near neighbours contributed 2 more goals to a highly entertaining spectacle in less than favourable conditions.

Jack Ryan , Luke Flannery and Lukah Williams were outstanding in an all-round good team performance in the rain. 

A special mention and congratulations to Dylan Hussey-Sheahan on captaining the side for the first time.
